i thought u have to push these buttons to make the runes appear ?!?

EDIT: no, wait.. im not sure but i think the rock stops the rolling stone (^^) so it makes the hole

Good idea but I don't think that is it, because the ball starts rolling when you walk to this area It rolls when you about the lamp, the lamp has to burn to make the runes appear. When you arrive in this area the stone isn't there yet, you have to push the buttons to appear it. The ball makes the hole before you can click the buttons I'll try to push them before the ball arrive's but I can't because the ball is faster then me.
So I don't think its for the runes or to stop the ball.
I played this game about 100 times but I've never solved this really frustrating grrr.

The buttons you are talking about are a replica of the trap in the huline tempel from disc 3. Normally, the sphere should squash you unless you push the two buttons, but in the cave the trap does not work anymore. So basically, the buttons are of no use in the caves.

Huline Temple, spider generator:


No, thats not right. Yesterday I made some experiments down there and klicking the flame does not stop the generator producing spiders. But i also couldnt find anything it activates or something like that...
As i was down there i saw 6 "rooms" to the left and the right of the corridor that leads to the generator. Does anyone know it's possible to get in there? Here some pictures:

bezüglich dieser räume:
die sind mir auch schon aufgefallen. wenn ich mich richtig erinnere sind irgendwie katzenstatuen davor oder so... auf jeden fall hab ich keinen weg gefunden die eingänge zu den räumen zu öffnen. ich habe dann nomen nescios trainer benutzt um durch die wände zu gehen. so genau kann ich mich nicht mehr erinnern was ich gefunden habe, aber es war nichts spektakuläres...
würde mich aber schon interessieren wie man auf normalem wege da rein kommt (alle 6 räume sind betretbar).

PS: ach wie dumm von mir, auf dem bild kann man die katzenstatue ja sehen ^^
